Yes, you need the textbook (Immediately) for the course listed in the syllabus. I have posted information about the new “bookstore” policy in the “Announcement” that you can view. Order it online NOW so you can have it when class starts.
On the first day of class, you will need to view a lot of material on Lone Star Online (D2L). Be prepared to view this material, and act on it. Since this is an online class, there is information in the Syllabus and Class Policy about “Attendance (Check-In), Weekly Zoom meeting, Assignments due, etc.
