I’m a Children’s Librarian and a Professor at Lone Star College-CyFair.  As a Librarian in this field, I seek out innovative ways to improve upon the early literacy programs that I facilitate.  As each new year approaches I set a goal to be more creative about instilling the importance of early literacy through Children’s programming.

My philosophy of Librarianship is staying informed and open to innovative ways of serving Library users (Students, Faculty, Staff, and Public).  Collaboration among colleagues, students and staff is vital to understanding needs in this unique joint use community library which serves both college and public users.
