Fall Semester 2022 is underway. Math 0308 Introductory Algebr and Math 0106 Pre-Algebra In-Class, on-Campus courses Start Date was August 29, 2022 and the End Date is December 15, 2022. Attendance is required for all In-Class scheduled class days and times (Math 0308 Intro Algebra Math – Math 0106 Pre-Algebra NCBO at Montgomery College in Building F, Room F 233 and Math 0308 Introductory Algebr – Math 0106 Pre-Algebra NCBO at Conroe Center, Room 125). Course graded assignments of homework and tests will be completed by means your Pearson MyLabMath online course. Student grading, and reporting will be done online in the Pearson, MyLab Math online learning management system. Graded course assignments will be completed according to the Course Calendar and MyLab Math scheduled due dates. A total of approximately seven Math 0308 chapter tests are scheduled over the sixteen week fall session with approximately one test every two weeks. Each test assignment requires prerequisite completion of a lesson video, a number of graded homework assignments, quizzes, a test review and the test. Math 0106 Pre-Algegra requires completion of graded quizzes and classroom activity. Your course Letter Grade will be posted for both your Math 0308 and for Math 0106 courses in your Lonestar Gradebook. Numerous optional learning and practicing features are available in MyLab Math. Your Math 0308 Course Overall Grade is determined by weighted scores of the homework, reviews, tests and the Final Exam as given by the Course Syllabus. Your Math 0106 Course Grade is determined by weighted average of MyLab Math quiz assignments and Math 0106 classroom assignments.
The required course materials for the course include purchase of the MyLab Math course Access Code necessary for internet access to all course tests, homework, quizzes, and practice online assignments as well as to course materials including the online course e-textbook, and the course content videos. The course Access Code may be purchased online by credit card upon student course Registration and Enrollment. A fourteen 14 day temporary use is provided by the publisher. Students are not required to purchase the hard-copy version of the course textbook for continued course use.
All Tests and the Final Exam may be taken two times during the course scheduled Test Days in the clssroom. The higher score is used to determine the test score and the Course Overall grade. Tests and the Final require password protected entry by your instructor or a Lab Proctor. Upon your request, your instructor will review the higher score test for awarding possible partial credit and for verifying student completion. Tests may be taken ahead of schedule on a Test day prior to their scheduled Due upon completion of the Test Review with a required 70% or greater score. Approved testing for ADA students may be completed in a Math Department authorized On-Campus Lone Star College Testing Center.
