The Quiet Type is my band’s web site that I made for my Web Design II class. My band was just getting back together so I wanted the site to have a really attractive look to get visitors interested.  I was really interested in creating a Flash header but I didn’t want it just to be a plain animation. My band was getting together so I decided to make a header that would reflect growth.

This is a class project to redesign a retailer’s web site.  I chose a warm color scheme to make the site feel a friendly neighboring shop as that was one of the redesign goals.  When a user clicks a box type, the menu expands to show more option under that specific type of box.  Because this company offers quite a few types of boxes, I also implemented a search option for users to quickly find a type of box that they look for.
