Baby Time
Baby Time is on Tuesday mornings at 9:30, 10:30, and 11:30 am for those 2 years old and younger.
Tickets (free!) are available at the Kids Corner reference desk 30 minutes before the program begins. Every person attending the program will need a ticket.
In Baby Time we have dancing, stories, songs, and rhymes. We also have a fun activity such as toys and musical instruments.
To make Baby Time as enjoyable for all as possible, I ask the following:
Please turn off cellphones or turn them on silent. Phone calls during Baby Time are distracting to the children and to the storyteller.
If your child is being disruptive please step out of the story time room until they have calmed down. Someone from the kids desk will be more than happy to let you back in.
Though I encourage you to interact with your child during Baby Time, I ask that you keep adult to adult conversation to a minimum. When the grown ups start talking it gets really loud and very distracting to the storyteller as well as the children.
Big brothers and sisters are always welcome to Baby Time, they just need to be careful of the little ones. We want to make sure the babies are safe.
Important Notes:
In regards to toys and musical instruments on the days we have them, please make sure all the babies have a toy or instrument before the older siblings take one. Before playing with the toys, please make sure that the child’s hands are clean. Food items like chocolate and cheese puff dust are very difficult to clean off of the fabric toys.
