Course Descriptions

1301 Art Appreciation: Course Description: An introductory course that studies the visual arts (painting, architecture, sculpture and crafts) through an exploration of their purpose and processes. Occasional field trips are required. This course is for non – majors and art majors or minors who have little or no background in art.

1303 Art History Survey I: Course Description: A survey of painting, sculpture, architecture and the arts from the prehistoric times to the fourteenth century.
