The publisher presents a useful set of pages to aid familiarizing yourself with the material in the textbook.  (Click the textbook graphic below to see or go to http://art.wadsworth.com/cunningham06) (NOTE: the link goes to the “Alternate” edition.  The only difference between that edition and ours is that ours includes readings at the end of each chapter.  The content chapters are the same, with the Alternate edition containing all the chapters for both HUMA 1301 and HUMA 1302.):

Currently, there are few things online accessible and specific to the course. Our Vista course will be available the first day of classes. Before the semester starts, you could spend your time well by familiarizing yourself with the Vista interface and checking the browser tune-up routines at ecollege. Try this link: http://www.lonestar.edu.  Click on the E-college link or the Lone Star Online link there at that page.

Besides getting your textbook right away, becoming familiar with the ecampus site, knowing how to navigate it and learning the available services, is one of the key things you can do to prepare for a semester of distance learning.

NOTE WELL: All tests, exams, papers will be submitted online.

Email me if you have any difficulty finding your way around Vista.  Remember, access to our class doesn’t start until the first official day of classes.

Let me know if you are unclear on anything or need more information.
