Education: Bachelor (1992) and Master (1997) of Science degrees in Mathematics, Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.

Teaching History: I started teaching during my Masters degree in 1996 at Lamar University. I moved in 2002 to start working at LSC-Kingwood in the Fall of 2002.  I enjoy teaching a variety of courses and formats from face to face to online.

Corequisite Support Faculty Team (Author): one of 4 instructors with experience in creating content for developmental-level courses, and who have been challenged with implementing corequisite courses at their own institutions. Professor Menard was the primary author of the Implementation Guide to support the Corequisite Support Modules for College Algebra or Precalculus, Corequisite Support Modules for Quantitative Reasoning or Liberal Arts Math, and Corequisite Support Modules for Statistics (2019).

Personal: I enjoy time with my husband, a variety of exercise including teaching Les Mills BodyBalance, traveling the U.S.A. (favorite place so far, Alaska, pictured below), flower gardening, and we have one spoiled kitty cat, Boulet.
