EXTRA ITEMS FOR CERTAIN TOPICS
Reviews of and Lessons on Factoring can be Found Here.
You can believe me when I tell you that YOU WILL NEED TO BE SKILLED AT FACTORING. While I might do a VERY quick brush through review, I WILL NOT teach the topic from scratch and I WILL proceed on the assumption that you are able to factor.

TEXT
My understanding is that at the campus bookstore, the actual physical version of the text is not available. If you go to the campus bookstore:
You will need your section number.
The class is section number is 1101.
You will receive information to access the electronic version. To do this you will need a code from your instructor, that is, me. The code is: spalding49510. I realize that rather than me, it says spalding for your instructor. (You should be so fortunate.) But use the code as given, all lower case, no spaces.
YOU WILL NOT NEED TO PURCHASE “MY MATH LAB” OR ANY OTHER SORT OF ELECTRONIC HOMEWORK SYSTEM.
If you desire the physical text, you will need to obtain it on-line via some other means.
READ THIS
This is good for any student to read, but especially if this is your first semester in college.
